DC/Baltimore

Since Thursday we have been exploring Washington DC.
And loving this song:

We have some friends that moved to DC a few months ago. Elliott had a conference for work in Baltimore starting today so we flew out a few days early to vacation.

Day One:
Dinner Thursday at Busboys and Poets (book store/restaurant combo), Washington Monument, bulldogs on porches, the White House, the Holocaust Museum (Not pictured but so amazing), Dinner at a family style Italian Restaurant.

Day Two:
Farmers Market with delicious peaches and homemade goodies, Lunch, Botanical Garden, Air and Space Museum, Georgetown, Dinner at Chop't creative salad company (our new favorite restaurant..only on the east coast..why?), Rain Storm.
(homemade crafts included mustaches, ant eaters, narwals, monster finger puppets, and screen printed onsies)

Day Three:
Church, Portrait Museum, Free jazz concert at the Reagan center, Thai for Dinner, Lincoln Memorial, Frozen Yogurt

Day Four:
American History Museum, Museum of Natural History, Shopping, Lunch at Chop't, NPR, Dinner with Adam and Steph, drive to Baltimore.

Day Five: Baltimore
Elliott spent most of the day in his conference for the VA while I worked on grad school apps and blogged. We went to lunch at a great wood oven pizza place. Then there was an earthquake. It wasn't that big here in Baltimore (it originated in Virginia), but we definitely felt it. It lasted less than 10 seconds but it was such a weird feeling. We were evacuated.

More pictures to come.
